Why did you choose Craig?

I was in a rut with my training always doing the same things.

I was getting slower on the squash court with little mobility and also need to be physically stronger on the football pitch.

I have known Craig for a long time and asked if he could help.

 

How did Craig solve your problem?

Craig knew it was my core that was the problem.

He created a specific programme starting out with whole body exercises which included using my core muscles.

We then moved onto more intense exercises that focused on my core and hips.

 

How did Craig’s solution help you? What were your results?

The results were great.

After about four weeks I could move quicker on the squash court and after two to three months I was at a stage where I wanted to be both at squash and at football.

My recovery rate was also great and my core strength much improved.

 

What did you particularly like about Craig’s approach and delivery?

Craig’s approach is very clam.

He delivers his sessions in a professional manner and explains everything before starting the programme.

He answers all questions and has a lot of knowledge.

 

How would you summarise your experience working alongside Craig as a whole?

Craig is a very likeable and personable guy, knowledgeable and professional.

 

Craig’s thoughts…

‘Before we started working together Dave never left the gym without giving it his all so to ensure he was getting the most out of the time and effort he was investing exercising, we went back to basics. Dave’s initial programmes were based upon become stronger all round and providing a solid foundation to build on in the future. We incorporated squats and deadlifts working on correct movement, posture and breathing making these some of the most important core exercises he was performing. We then gradually moved onto more complex exercises as we progressed and introduced interval and circuit based drills to work on Dave’s conditioning also.’

Where is David now...

To ensure Dave stays strong and motivated in the gym we use a range of different exercises but the theme always stays the same – we focus on correct and controlled movement. We also work quiet heavily on Dave’s mobility and flexibility to ensure he remains robust to the rigours of his sports and active lifestyle.
