I needed to commit to working out at the gym regularly as, apart from walking it is the only exercise I do.
Also, I wanted to make sure I didn’t lose muscle as I get older.
I am still alive!
Because of the personal program Craig has devised for me, attending the gym is part of my weekly routine so I don’t even have to think about making an effort to go.
I can also see my progress as I am using heavier weights and managing a higher number of reps.
I have a great sense of achievement when I finish my workout and an all round sense of well-being.
I feel healthier, stronger and have more energy.
I also know that what I am achieving is good for my long term health.

Craig’s approach encourages you to try heavier weights by doing only a couple of reps to start with which gives you confidence to just go for another extra one and before you know it you can manage a respectable number.
Craig devises 3 different but similar programmes for me so I’m not doing the same workout each time I go to the gym which would be boring.
I have new programmes after a set number of weeks which is also good to keep me motivated.
Craig is always positive and encouraging.
He is excellent at explaining the specific exercise’s benefits and checks my technique.
If there is something I really don’t like doing (you know what I’m talking about Craig!) I know he would change it but somehow I always end up persevering and it stays part of my plan!
We also have a giggle.
To continue to do what I’m doing as I enjoy it and it must be good for my health!
Craig makes sure what you are doing is specifically tailored to your needs but it is also surprisingly enjoyable.
